Allotment Warden Job Vacancy

Melksham Without Parish Council is recruiting a Part-Time Allotment Warden

We are seeking a practical, reliable and community-minded individual to help oversee the Council's allotment sites.

The role includes:

Weekly health and safety inspections

Quarterly plot inspections

Showing prospective tenants around allotment sites

Minor repairs and maintenance

Occasional cover for the Parish Caretaker during periods of leave

This position would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a proactive approach and is confident working independently

while engaging positively with allotment tenants and the wider community.
