Melksham NHP shortlisted for an Award

The Joint Melksham Neighbourhood Plan 2 has been shortlisted for the "Best Plan" award in the 2026 RTPI South West Awards for Planning Excellence.

This is a significant achievement and recognises the many years of work undertaken by local volunteers, councillors, officers, Melksham Town Council, Melksham Without Parish Council, and Vaughan Thompson and Katie Lea of Place Studio, who have provided expert guidance and support as an integral part of the Neighbourhood Plan team.

The Plan has been shaped through community involvement, partnership working and professional support, and this shortlisting is a fitting acknowledgement of the commitment shown by all those involved.
